Just back from the Cheyenne Weekender at Folkestone and you know what its probably the best one to date, yes being down stairs was different and on the face of it you would think this is to small but every one worked together on the dance floor and when a really popular dance came on some waited till it was played again.
Partner and Line dancers worked so well with each other on this event which was great to see. Lots of Ideas to make more dance floor for the June event. Im sure places will be limited so book early the atmosphere was more friendly and cosy.
Well what a line up we had kicking off on Friday The brilliant Steve Lovett and the fantastic Texas Gun all great musicians and jamming together at the end was magic.
Saturday afternoon we had Pete Shaw another great performer who can make a guitar growl two brill spots Pete.He stood in for Chris Kenwood who had an accident and had to cancel hope you are feeling well soon Chris,
Saturday evening hosts of the event the fab Cheyenne with the terrific Storms great night.
Sunday afternoon Roots and Wings who also stood in for Tony Crooks who was unwell get better soon Tony, two great spots and a super afternoon which brings us to finally night what can i say Nadine Somers Vocalist and Daniel Berry two nutters lol in a nice way lol lots of great music and funny banter brilliant way to Finnish off a fantastic Weekend.
Brian Minns and Julie did another fab job with the Partner instruction Brian will be posting the dances taught over the weekend.
I had a great response again from the line dancers you make it a pleasure showing you some new dances which were this time, Codigo Pat Patricia Stotty Stott Cherry Bomb Rob Fowler Your one and Only by myself, Timbuktu Tina Argyle Off the beaten Track Gary O' Reilly and Just a Phase Fred Whitehouse & Maddison Glover . Phewww haha.
Thanks to Ky and Angie for keeping this event running and to the helpers who do things over the weekend for Ky and many thanks to you all for making me and Lynne so welcome at the event. See you in June..
