I arrived at the Club at around 3-30 as did our Artist for tonight so a quick rush round to get the stage up backdrop done so he could get on setting his gear up. The hall was set up and ready to go with the main thing on that was the Tea Urn. With the hall filling up even though the weather outside was very Wet and Windy there was still a good crowd in so as start time rolled round it was time for me to bring on stage for the first CHRIS MEZZA and it was “Just To See You Smile” onto “Baby I’m Right” along with “Billy B Bad” then CHRIS moved onto “April Fool” along with “Dreaming My Dreams” then CHRIS said “Should Have Asked Her Faster” before getting “Closer” along with “Dreaming With My Eyes Wide Open” then a bit of “Codey Gold” and “First Fool In Line” and a Brilliant version of “Ghost Riders” closed the spot.

During the break time for me to do the “What’s On List” and a chat to some of the people in the hall, then on with the Compare Hat to bring back CHRIS and we all heard numbers like “Loving All Night” “Lay Low” along with “Let Your Love Flow” and saw some “Stars On The Water” and a couple from Brooks and Dunn which were “My Marie” and “Neon Moon” a bit of “Talk Is Cheap” also “Where The Corn Don’t Grow” and CHRIS closed the spot with “Tonight We Just Might Fall In Love”. CHRIS from “The Gang” then joins me by the stage with PAM and SUE keep check on the RAFFLE PRIZES as the Raffle is drawn, this done time to have a chat to some more people in the hall.

Then it is time to bring back CHRIS for the final time tonight and along came “Mr Man In The Moon” followed by “Tempted” along with “Same Thing Happened To Me” then CHRIS was going to “Bottle It Up” onto Haggards “Silver Wings” and Sam Outlaws “Love Her For A While” then we all watched because “This Is Where The Cowboy Rides Away” then we met up with some “Children” and it was “Past The Point Of Rescue” that closed the show, there were a lot of shouts for more ringing round the hall so I asked Chris for one for the road or in his case the Ferry all in the hall joined in as CHRIS sang and played “Best Of Friends” which did bring to a close what had been a Superb night of Live Country Music put on by CHRIS if you add to the above “Young Mans Town” and “Here In The Real World” also one not heard much “Rose Coloured Glasses” which stood out for me, also with Three Guitars on stage and each one was played throughout the evening and I mean PLAYED !!!! in Superb style, thanks CHRIS for a Brilliant evening, and to all who braved the Wind and Rain from the “GANG” a big “THANK YOU”.
