On a sad night as a lot of Members from the Club made their way to the Chichester Crematorium for the Service of Celebration to Remember PAM TRIGGS who was one of the "GANG" running the Club, and I had asked our Artist for the night to do a special song, so at start time I brought on stage CHRIS HARRIS who started with "Mr Man In The Moon" as Pam loved this number, on then to "If Love Was A River" then up went the tempo for "Don't Rock The Jukebox" and "Poor Boy Blues" as well as "The Fireman" things then slowed down for "Don't Close Your Eyes" Then onto "Good Hearted Woman" and "Billy B Bad" and it was a Brilliant version of "The Dance" that closed the spot.
Managed to get the "What's on List" done in the break then time to bring back on stage CHRIS HARRIS who said "This Is Me Missing You" on with the Buddy Holly number "Doesn't Matter Anymore" then some "Guitars Cadillac's" Chris then said it was good "Just To See You Smile" before going onto "Silver Wings" and the "Burn Out" then we were all told to "Act Naturally" as we were off on the "City Of New Orleans" where we all heard "Oh Lonesome Me" the up tempo version onto "Better Man" and closed with "In Case You Didn't Know"

Our CHRIS from the "GANG" came and helped me with the "RAFFLE DRAW" after which even had time to natter to some people, then for the final time tonight I introduced to all in the hall CHRIS HARRIS who was by this time "Past The Point Of Rescue" cos he had to "Love Her For A While" as he watched the "Stars On The Water" and we all heard "Today I Started Loving You Again" and it was "Seven Nights To Rock" along with "Peaceful Easy Feeling" that closed the show, but oh no for the shouts for more that rang round the hall one more was asked for, and for the love of me I can not remember what Chris did all I know was it must of had something to do with a Road as CHRIS said it was about the right number to do as he was heading off for home in South Wales, somewhere near Swansea. To Chris a big THANK YOU for a Brilliant night of LIVE COUNTRY MUSIC and some Superb Picking on the Guitar , and there were two numbers that stood out for me tonight "Rose Of Paradise" a Waylon Jennings number and also "Three Wooden Crosses" ---- Brilliant, and to all who turned up from the "GANG" who were missing SUE tonight she was Poorly get well soon Thank You Very Much for supporting "YOUR CLUB"
