Everything was set up in the Hall before TONY and JILL arrived and our artist for tonight was nearly ready to go. We all had a drink and sat down for a while then we all took our places as compare TONY brought on stage MARTIN JAYE who had brought along the "First Fool In Line" and the popular "Rosa Del Mar", then it was off on a "Little Love Trip" then it was "Just To See You Smile" and "Talk Is Cheap" as well as "Memories Are Made Of This" and "I Just Wanna Dance With You". MARITN then said "The Same Thing Happened To Me" and we all went "Missing" along with the "Gipsy Queen" and "Billy Be Bad" which was the last number in the spot.

A short break followed then TONY brought back MARTIN who said there were a couple in the Hall who had reached their "GOLDEN WEDDING" so he sang "Waltz Across Texas for them along with "Lay Down Beside Me", on then with "Old And Grey" along with "Heaven In My Woman's Eyes" next up was "Lonely Drum" and "Country Holic". MARTIN then moved onto "Tempted" to go with "Mr Man In The Moon" and look at the "Neon Moon". Three more numbers "All My X's Live In Texas" and "Baby I'm Right" it was "Guitars Cadilacs" that closed the spot.

Martin JayeNow time for TONY and helper NORBET to draw the "RAFFLE" and the move onto the "WHATS on LIST" of the Local Clubs, time then for Tony for the Final time tonight to introduce to all MARTIN and we were off to "Where The Corn Don't Grow" maybe that could be "Under The Hood" with a "High Class Lady" in "Some Town Somewhere" for maybe a "Champagne Promise" down in "Carbo San Lucas" through some "Swinging Doors" to find some "Places". MARTIN closed the show with "Some Girls Will" but it was clear that TONY would have to ask for one for the road which turned out to be "Seven Nights To Rock". For those that turned up as there were Two other Events on tonight Martin had put on a Brilliant night of Live Country Music and for me one number stood out that was "Angel And Alchol" a Brilliant number, if you are free give Tony a ring on 01342 892381 for more details. Next month there is a change of Artist on the 10th November when CHRIS KENWOOD will be on stage for the first time at the Club, just because he is new to the Club get up and put your "BUMS on the SEATS" you will not be disappointed, Chris puts on a great night of Country and does something for everyone.

On stage tonight, a guy many in the hall had seen before but not as a Solo act, so what could we all expect, well first things first as it was down to Compare TONY to bring on stage for the first time at the Club, RAY PETERS and first up was "Talk Is Cheap" then "You Can't Read My Mind and the James House number "This Is Me Missing You" three great numbers to start the show. Ray moved things along with "Guitars, Cadilacs" onto "Another Song I Had To Write" then we all met up with the "High Class Lady" along with the "Goodhearted Woman" who said they were on a "Champagne Promise" and RAY closed the spot with "Baby I'm Right".

During the break TONY is rushing round with the RAFFLE TICKETS well maybe walking and Gill is in the Kitchen selling Tea, Coffee and Rolls, with this all done TONY put's the compare hat on to bring back RAY for the second time tonight and along comes "Billy B Bad" saying "I Love The Honky Tonk Life" and looking at the "Disappearing Tail Lights" then he was off to "Where The Corn Don't Grow" to meet up with the "Gipsy Queen" for a bit of "Virtical Expression". RAY kept things on the right track with "Heaven In My Woman's Eyes" then it was off to "Places" where he said "I Just Wanna Dance With You" then we all heard "If Love Was A River" and we were asked "Is It Friday Yet" which of course it was and the spot closed with "Just To See You Smile".

Another short break then time for TONY for the final time tonight to bring back RAY and the Derek Ryan number "Old And Grey" along with "Love Her For A While" the Sam Outlaw song started things off well it was then onto "Wagon Wheel" onto a "New Shade Of Blue" then one not heard often "Toes" next up "People Are Crazy" and a great version of "Remember When" up went the tempo for "Seven Nights To Rock" after which we were all "Dreaming With My Eyes Wide Open" and RAY closed the show by telling us all "That's How I Got To Memphis" it was easy to see that compare TONY would have to ask for one for the road and this was "Whisky Gone". There were a couple of numbers that are still on my mind first the old Hank Locklin number from way back then "Please Help Me I'm Falling" along with a Billy Currington song not heard a lot, but a great number "One Way Ticket". Well tonight for his first time at the club RAY put on a brilliant night of LIVE COUNTRY MUSIC and I am sure he will be back, and as he said the Dancers were on the floor from the first number at this very friendly club run by TONY and his better half GILL, who make you very welcome when you walk into the club, well worth a visit but give TONY a ring to book a seat.

Break time and time for TONY and MARTIN to do the "RAFFLE DRAW" with this over and done with time for compare TONY for the final time tonight to bring on ALAN and it was "Rosa Del Mar" who said "Lay Low" because "I'm Gonna Love Her For A While" after which we all saw some "Disappearing Tail Lights" which went "Missing". ALAN kept all in the hall happy with numbers like the Don Williams "First Fool In Line" and "Gentle On My Mind" from Glen Campbell as well as "I Can Dream" and "Come Do A Little Life With Me" and a couple more numbers "Remember When" along with "Missing" closed the show, but it was clear from the shouts for more that rang round hall that TONY would have to ask for one more and it was "Johnny B Goode" . It had been a brilliant night of COUNTRY MUSIC put on by ALAN for his Final Night at the COLORADO C.M.C. as he will be coming off the road at the end of the year, Best Wishes to ALAN for the Future.
