Once again off to the SNODLAND C.M.C. and as we that is PAM who runs ALL BRITISH COUNTRY Website and myself walked in tonight's Artist was doing his Sound Check which to me sounded spot on to me. Compare ROLY introduced to all in the hall the CCN Newcomer of the YEAR winner JOHN DOHERTY who we had seen a couple of weeks ago, and off he went with "Just To See You Smile" onto "Missing" next was the Derek Ryan number "Old And Grey" after which we met up with the "First Fool In Line" who gave us all a "Champagne Promise". JOHN then moved things on with "Just Playing Possum" which was around the "Big Blue Tree". In this spot JOHN also "A Little Bit Of You", "Rosa Del Mar" and closed with "Baby I'm Right".
After a short break time for ROLY to leave the Tea Making and bring back on stage JOHN and "Ain't Just A Southern Thing" along with a great version of the Jack Greene number "I'll Keep On Dreaming" also "Just For Old Times Sake" there was the ever popular "Disappearing Tail Lights" as well as "First Taste Of Texas" and also a Don Williams number "Back To The Simple Things Of Life" and it was "I'll Leave This World Loving You" that closed the spot.

Time during the next break for DILYS and JULIE to do the "RAFFLE DRAW" on then with the "WHATS on LIST" and again it was time for ROLY to bring back John for the final time tonight, and again a very good mix of numbers throughout the spot with "Gone, Gone, Gone" then we were "Tempted" by the "Gipsy Queen" who has been to a lot of "Places" and she also had some "Falsom Prison Blues" and John closed with "Can't Take It With You When You Go" one more was asked for as the shouts for more echoed round the hall by compare ROLY and the show closed with "Loving All Night" add to all of those "Rose Coloured Glasses" along with "Some Town Somewhere" then there was "Desperation" this is a brilliant number put over in superb style by JOHN, and this was his first time at SNODLAND C.M.C. but II think he will be back, he may be the "NEW KID ON THE BLOCK" but he kept the Dancers on the Floor all night long and in a couple of weeks since we saw him last there were a lot of new numbers throughout the evening and John seems to get better every time we see him, a brilliant night of LIVE COUNTRY MUSIC put on by JOHN at the SNODLAND C.M.C.

We were made very welcome by DILYS, ESTHER, JULIE and ROLY who do everything between them like running the Bar and making Tea, Coffee as well as Rolls and Cakes all this is done after setting up the Club and after the show they then have to clear the hall, very well worth a visit if you are in the area on the Sunday it runs.

Up to Snodland  to see a new artist for me  and even though I had been for a Club before not to this one which was formed last year so what would the night hold for us, will talk about the Club later. start time rolled round and compare ROLY stood next to and introduced to all ZENNE and "Love Me Just A Little Bit Longer" there was also the Lorrie Morgan number "Except For Mondays" next up was "Same Thing Happened To Me" and "Feeling Kinda Lonely  Tonight". ZENNE  kept things on the right track with an up  tempo version of "Take These Chains"  then it was "Begging To You" along with "Every Little Thing" onto "Shut Up And Drive" and to close the spot with in her words now for a bit of Punk!!! and went on with "C'est La Vie"  the final number of the spot.

Brought back for the second spot by ROLY  it was "Playing Every Honky Tonk In Town" then "Be My Baby Tonight" and on with "Today  I Started Loving You Again"   along with I Don't Feel That Way Anymore" great number that one then we were asked to get a little bit "Closer".  Then ZENNE moved things along with "Lucky Today" and an up tempo version of "Tonight The Bottle Let Me Down" on with a Little Big Town number "Pontoon"  and finally it was "Go Away And Wait A Minute".

DILYS then did the "RAFFLE DRAW" with this done back came compare ROLY for the final time tonight to introduce to all ZENNE and "Tonight We Just Might Fall In Love Again" then the James House number "A Real Good Way To End Up Lonesome" then we had a "Girl Crush" followed by "The Breeze" along with "Two More Bottles Of Wine".  With time fast running out  for ZENNE we heard "Speed Of The Sound Of Loneliness" and "Turn It Up, Turn It Down, Turn Me Loose" along came a "Goodhearted Woman"  down the "Trail Of Tears"  and the last number of the show was "Act Naturally". Shouts for more rang round the hall and her final number was "The Other Side Of The Hill", if you add to these "Old Flames" and "Crying Time" along with "Lay Down Beside Me" all done with no backing tracks  great to hear this done also there was "Satin Sheets" and "Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain"  and the oldie "Candy Kisses" thrown in for good measure, ZENNE had put on a brilliant night of LIVE COUNTRY MUSIC in her own style which is one of a kind, a real powerful voice a bit raunchy and gutsy  but something very different to what is normally heard in the clubs and if that's what you want at your Club ZENNE will fill the bill check out her Facebook  page.

As  for the Club you are made very welcome by DILYS, ESTHER,  JULIE and ROLY who between them do the BAR and KITCHEN  and the RAFFLE and that includes the "WASHING UP" and making sure everyone is happy, you don't have to take food drink it is all there just take YOURSELVES along and enjoy the atmosphere  of a  very well run Club.
