On the road to Teynham to the CLAWS and PAWS C.M.C. have not been there for a long time and our artists for tonight were setting up as I walked into the hall, there was a slight problem tonight as the usual compare was on holiday, so someone who is seen in most Clubs in Kent was asked if he would do the job, his answer was yes. At start time compare for the evening RICHARD brought on stage for the first time JONNY and LYNNETTE and "Stop The World" along with "Just Call Me Lonesome" got things moving then we were off for a "Tennessee Waltz" before picking up some "Silver Threads And Golden Needles". JONNY and LYNETTE then moved onto "Walk Through This World With Me" where we met up with "Jones On The Jukebox" who was playing the "Orange Blossom Special" where he was "Thinking Tonight Of My Blue Eyes" who was "Home To Louisiana". A couple more numbers "Some Broken Hearts" along with "Seven Nights To Rock" closed the spot.

During the break it was time for a "CUPPER and a NATTER" then back came RICHARD the compare to bring back JONNY and LYNNETTE who brought along the "Love Bug" then it was a Heather Miles number "Love Me A Little Bit Longer" along with "Everything's A Waltz" then the were off "Playing Every Honky Tonk In Town" where they were heard to say "Pick Me Up On Your Way Down". Things were kept on track as along came "Billy B Bad" then it was off to "Texas When I Die" onto "Love Me Tonight" and on with the oldie "Heartaches By The Number" then along came the Hank Williams number "Move It On Over" and it was those "Mercury Blues" that closed the spot.

RICHARD then had the "RAFFLE DRAW" along with the "WHATS on LIST" which he coped with very well next a few more numbers were played to keep the Dancers happy, then it was time for compare RICHARD to bring back on stage for the final time tonight JONNY and LYNNETTE who first brought along "Four Strong Winds" then it was the Charlie Pride number "Kiss An Angel Good Morning" as well as "Ain't Love A Lot Like That" we were all off to see "Mr Man In The Moon" who took us all to the "Twist And Shout" then it was "Close Up The Honky Tonks" which where on the "Streets Of Bakersfield" and the number that closed the show was "Matchbox", it was all to clear that RICHARD would have to ask for one for the road and this turned into two as first up was "Your My Best Friend" and it was "Eighteen Yellow Roses" that did bring the curtain down on tonight's show. If you add to those "Somewhere Between" and "Blue Kentucky Girl" both by LYNNETTE then there was "Last Cheaters Waltz" from JONNY and then together they sang "I'm Getting Old" (I know the feeling ) which was just great.

Once again for the second time this month of seeing JONNY and LYNNETTE they had put on a brilliant night of LIVE COUNTRY MUSIC at the CLAWS and PAWS C.M.C. Taking over as compare for tonight RICHARD did a very good job and JONNY and LYNNETTE played the music in the breaks, proves one thing "COUNTRY FOLK" will just in their own way just make all run smooth when problems arise my thanks to all involved tonight.
